And so in almost two weeks, I will be flying over the Atlantic, catching a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower, and landing in a very warm climate country rich in ancient artifacts. I still have so much to do before leaving -- like buying good outdoor shoes. Yeah, that would be a good start, considering I will be OUTSIDE for most of my stay... And because there are SNAKES out in the fields... Oh boy.
It has finally started to sink in that I am actually going to Greece for a good chunk of my summer. I suppose it's scary, but it's such an amazing opportunity to see first hand what I have been studying for over two years now. The best part is I have gotten this amazing opportunity to participate on an archaeological dig. For years, this is what I have been setting myself up to do and to finally taste what my future will entail is absolutely amazing!
